Something I don't get

Why do they make an announcent about something that's already known? Like KC leaving "Today." She doesn't need to make an announcement that she's leaving when we all already know she's leaving. She can make a statement about her leaving, but it seems like an announcement should be when we're first learning the information.

busy

I have been so busy with all this travel for work. Sometimes I think I should find a job where I stay home more often, but then again, my job can be so much fun and I get to see so many cool places. So I really don't know which I'd prefer.

Things I don't like:

1. When someone runs the water when I'm in the shower enough so that the water pressure goes way down and it turns freezing when I'm trying to rinse conditioner out of my hair.

2. When I'm trying to eat my cereal at work, and someone starts talking to me and won't pick up on the cue of me continuing to eat my cereal to leave. And then it gets eaten slower and gets all soggy.

Miami

This time the trip was to Miami. And you know... I always hate going there (South Beach in particular) b/c there are so many beautiful people everywhere and it's just intimidating. But this trip I actually took the time to watch some of the people. And they're not all that beautiful. The difference is that they all just THINK they're that beautiful. In fact, some of them are quite unattractive, especially when you can tell they've had work done once you get close enough. So here are a couple of my thoughts about people down there:

1. Just because you have money and can afford designer clothes and all, doesn't mean you should wear the most revealing designer outfit you can find. That can just make you look skanky.
2. More makeup is not always better. Lighten up a little people. And also, fake eyelashes are tacky.
3. Tanner is not always better. Some people aren't meant to be dark tan, and when they get overtan, they just look old and disgusting.

New York City

I just got back from NYC where I was for work for a few days. There were so many celebrities in town for fashion week, and it can get so irritating. There was this one blonde one, who I won't name here, who was just incredibly rude. Some of the things that I heard come out of her mouth were just unbelievable (these weren't directed at me, fortunately, I just happened to overhear b/c she wasn't being quiet about it).

Also, is it that difficult to hold a door for someone coming in behind you? And not far behind... like right behind you. Sheesh.

Touchy People

I was riding with a friend the other day, and saw next to us a woman who was rolling down her window to remove keys that were in the door of her car. Yes, she was driving down the road with the keys still in the door. Of course, this made us laugh. And she saw that we saw her and scowled and glared at us. Well lady, if you are driving with the keys still in the door and I catch you, I think it's perfectly understandable that I laugh at you.

I do wonder how one does that b/c don't you usually use the same keys to drive as you do to open the car? Or these days most people with new cars, it was a newish Mercedes, don't even use keys to open the doors.

Christmas

Christmas was so great! I got so much fun stuff! Like new DVD's and lots of cool clothes and some pretty earrings too! I hate to sound so materialistic, but it really is fun to get presents.
